BURNING INSTRUCTIONS Keep wick centered & trimmed to 1/4" to ensure even burning & prevent flame from becoming too large. Burn only on a stable, heat resistant surface for no more than four hours at a time. Stop using when only 1/4" of wax remains. Always consult your veterinarian to be certain that candles can be used in the same space with your familiar and exercise caution with open flames around them. ----CANDLE BURNING INSTRUCTIONS---- The basics of lighting and enjoying your wooden wick candle are simple, but there are a few things to keep in mind- ✂It is IMPORTANT to trim a wooden wick to 1/8” – 3/16”, and no longer. If the wick is too long, the wax will not pull up the wick, and the flame will dim or even extinguish. ⛔️NEVER remove wax from around the wick, it starves the wick and creates a tunnel. If your wooden wick is extinguishing shortly after lighting it, trimming is the problem. Simply give it a trim with wick trimmers, nail clippers or simply snap the char off with your fingers or tap if off with your lighter and remove the wick bits, light it at the wax level and you'll be crackling away!!
