Artisan Boulanger - French Bread Scented Soy Wax Candle with a Crackling Wooden Wick Notes: Top- Warm Baking Bread Middle - Rustic, Crunchy Bread Crust Bottom - Hot Melting European Butter Indulge in the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked bread, drizzled in melted butter with this Artisan Boulanger soy wax candle. Made with a wooden wick that crackles gently as it burns, this candle evokes the warmth and coziness of a French bakery. An Artisan Boulanger shop on the streets of Paris, might smell like a combination of freshly baked bread, yeast, flour, and other ingredients used in the baking process. The exact scent can vary depending on the type of bread being baked, but it is generally a warm and inviting aroma that evokes feelings of comfort and nostalgia. Some people might also detect hints of spices or other flavorings depending on the recipe being used. Overall, the scent of an artisan Boulanger is one that many people find incredibly appealing and comforting. To be called a boulangerie, a French bakery must bake bread on the premises. Boulangeries often display a sticker on the storefront that says “Artisan Boulanger.” This seal of authenticity means that the baker is an artisan and fully makes their bread on site, rather than a depot de pain, a shop that sells bread that was baked anywhere else. Offered in a vintage looking apothecary jar with a matte black lid. Our long-burning candles will melt an average of 7-9 hours per ounce when properly trimmed and cared for (care card included). **Cleaning out your candle jar to reuse it Hot water can be used to easily and safely remove wax. Place the candle on a stable surface protected with a towel or newspaper. Use a spoon to remove as much wax as you can. Pour very hot water into the container ( I use a regular fill from my coffee pod machine), leaving room at the top. The hot water will melt the wax and it will float to the top. Let the water cool overnight and simply pop out the wax “cookie” that formed on top of the water. Strain the water to get rid of any small wax bits (Don’t pour wax down the drain) ! I pour mine into a used coffee filter after I’ve brewed a pot and toss the filter, coffee and wax (remove wick tab) into my compost. Wipe any remaining wax and clean with hot soap and water or pop it in the dishwasher.** WARNING Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable materials. Keep out of reach of children and pets. BURNING INSTRUCTIONS Keep wick centered & trimmed to 1/4" to ensure even burning & prevent flame from becoming too large. Burn only on a stable, heat resistant surface for no more than four hours at a time. Stop using when only 1/4" of wax remains. Do not move candle while burning or if wax is hot. 100% Soy Wax Paraben Free Phthalate-Free Paraffin Free Cruelty-Free Judgement Free Vegan 🐾🐈 Pet Friendly disclaimer: We strive to create candles that are pet friendly as we share our little piece of the Earth with three adorable French Bulldogs (known for their sensitive respiratory systems). Our candles are 100% soy wax, paraben and phthalate-free, paraffin and palm oil free, cruelty-free, and vegan. Always consult your veterinarian to be certain that candles can be used in the same space with your familiar and exercise caution with open flames around them. ----CANDLE BURNING INSTRUCTIONS---- The basics of lighting and enjoying your wooden wick candle are simple, but there are a few things to keep in mind: ✂It is IMPORTANT to trim a wooden wick to 1/8” – 3/16”, and no longer. If the wick is too long, the wax will not pull up the wick, and the flame will dim or even extinguish. ⛔️NEVER remove wax from around the wick, it starves the wick and creates a tunnel. If your wooden wick is extinguishing shortly after lighting it, trimming is the problem. Simply give it a trim with wick trimmers, nail clippers or simply snap the char off with your fingers or tap if off with your lighter and remove the wick bits, light it at the wax level and you'll be crackling away!!
